I use Photoshop for large and multiple deletes, lots of spots in sky or water, an object that does not work well in the photo, etc. I use Lightroom for minor spot editing and occasionally it will work fine for a larger object, but not too often. Multiple programs will do this for you, too numerous too name. Whatever editing program you currently use may have a tool to remove objects.

Photoshop is great, but like any software there is a learning curve. It depends what you want to remove. No software will do it automatically or with little skill.

Smart Photo Editor. Easy to remove unwanted objects in your photos, including people and large objects making a bad picture look like it's been professionally edited. You can remove unwanted wires in seconds. Much faster and easier than trying to clone out your mistakes with Photoshop.

Photoshop does the best job of removing unwanted objects in my opinion. It offers many methods besides cloning. Easy learning curve for the removal part of Photoshop.

Many software programs can do this. Photoshop, LightRoom, Paint Shop Pro or ON1 come to mind.

I find that macphum works for every need. Fast and easy. Almost no learning curve. They provide many teaching videos. Best money I've ever spent.
