I have used the green screen for a number of shot where I couldn't find a proper back drop or individuals want a certain ie beach or any other backdrop that was not available -- The Green Screen program is easy to use-- I believe the cost is $99.00 or so - I lile it a lot

the program works really well but you need to have the background without folds and no shadows - it does not eliminate the shadows - if you have shadows they mat appear blotchy (if thats a word) in those cases I have removed them in photoshop first - I have had mine for a number of years so new issues would likly have impoved that - but once you know too eliminate the shadows it lots of fun to work with

Can I sub in a background of my own and keep it in layers?

the way my program works is I take a picture lets say of a bride & groom in front of a green backdrop then you can take any of your or purchased photos to make a background -- its really easy once you have the lighting set up so you don't have shadows -- I purchased this program when a couple of friends were getting married and it was really important for the to have a certain background but didn't have the funds or time to go there to have their photos done -- they were quiet pleased with the results - Works great and well worth the money for me - I have taken pictures of old buildings - parks - whatever- to use as backgruonds makes for interesting results - have fun
