The barn swallows and the bobolinks were the biggest challenge of the day. Both fly very quickly and unpredictably. I did the best I could with a sore and tired shoulder.

I appreciate your comment about the barn swallows, but I wish I could have done better. We came upon them late in our four hour trek and by that time I was spent. Maybe next time! The little turtle didn't move a bit and he allowed us to get as close as we wanted to him, so he was a perfect subject.

Madman...nice shots of the barn swallows in flight. One of my favorite types of photography is shooting BIF. As far as difficulty is concerned, swallows have to be the toughest subjects.
