Welcome to Day 165 :) Today we are going to take a look at Art on the Streets. Originally I was thinking graffiti and murals but I am also going to have to include sculptures... since technically they are street art. Here are a few examples to get us started. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.

Now this is called a ''draveur''. The word draveur is a twisted version used as a slang in the Québec dialect which was taken from the English word, ''driver'' or those loggerswho drove logs down the rivers to the mills. An extremely dangerous job


To me this is street art.. Street musicians aroud here are part of out street art and without them, we would miss something. Here's a trick. I make a lot of You Tube vids using my photos and a musicless video of pics is dull. What I do is, I will go find a street musician who is playing something interesting and instrumenta land I offer t obuy his CD if he will let me use it as background music for my Y.T,'s and in doing so I will give the person(s) credit onthe video andalso will return the video to them as proof. Works good, believe me.


Anything that enhances a walk alongthe street, to me, is art. Store owners in this area of town go to great lengths to make their shops visibly pleasant for the strollers

I have nothing to show today, so, I wish everyone good luck in there quest for perfection. Loguey you won't be second behind me today finely. I feel because your old I have to give you one every once in awhile. See you at lunch.

P.S. If Loguey shows an image of a street artist, it was my shot. He only got to him first because I was to busy shooting a statue. If I had shot him instead of being kind as I am to old people Loguey, you would have been in second place again.

Photogrl..... as always great examples. I can't get over the first one, to me it looks as though the hat and coat are hanging in air because there is no shadow to give it depth.It is very interesting. The jug is a winner in my book also.
