every once in a while, i get a wild hair and decide to try something different in the way of 'digital art'. i had this image of an old truck parked and abandoned next to a barn, and thought it might look kinda neat converted to a "painting", so i ran it through Photoshop's artistic filters, using the 'sponge' filter at minimum settings to give it a pseudo-impressionist look...

Tom, we see things quite differently. It looks like a beautiful painting to me and I think it belongs on a wall!

I am seeing way too much detail for it to be a painting. But I have to wonder; since I am red/green colour blind, is this the reason it looks like an out of focus photograph to me? I might just be tired or, maybe I now need glasses. Lol. Just as long no one takes me seriously here. I myself, would have to trust your opinion more than mine. Maybe we should forget about my comments and let others post theirs. Now I know I am tired.

LOL! yeah, in the small size, it does look a lot less like a painting. but in the full size version, it really does look like an impressionist piece... and being red/green colorblind CAN'T make it any easier!

Tom, you just talked yourself into being tired! I believe you! Watch it or you'll talk yourself into being old. I'm 74 and refuse to do that. I am still 25 every day!
BTW, I can easily put that much detail into a painting!
I still love it!!!
