This UHH troll is just like the life of the party who gets too drunk....

You know the one....everyone encounters him eventually. Sometimes too often. He's a funny guy (sort of...but at least an icebreaker at first), perfect blend of sarcasm and wit to be the life of the party. Always good for a few laughs even though he doesn't really contribute to the conversation. Just a diversion good for a laugh or two among friends.

Then said party man starts to enjoy this effect...made easier by a beer or two. He keeps drinking and keeps on interjecting. Pretty soon he's just obnoxious and downright annoying....but what he remembers, is focused on and clings to are those few chuckles he elicited earlier and keeps trying for a repeat reaction....except his judgment is clouded by the beer and he can't see that the other partygoers are now just annoyed and are now not only ignoring him but going out of their way to avoid him. Party man has no idea that everyone is now laughing in response to him---only now they're laughing AT him and not WITH him.

Party guy has no clue....drunk on spirits or egomania or both...he's past the point of reason and, sadly, is incapable of understanding the mess that he has become. Our only hope is that he eventually will pass out, sleep it off, and be a different person in the morning.

Remind you of anyone?????

Not every one of those is totally single-tracking....but dirtpusher, Sharp Shooter are definitely with Twatlow almost there. Nakkh and Bazbo at least respond somewhat in the general area of the discussion at hand.
