I think about you every time I see the news. It is a really ugly situation and it sounds like it is far from over.

Thank you for your concern, But the only way I'M affected is not having to drive extra miles to get to anything and missing a few days work.
I take the photos to record the Flooding, it is something to see up close and personal.
The magnitude of the flooding is caused by man!!!! in this instance it is made worse by a city down stream building a flood control levee, and others filling flood plains and thinking they can control Mother Nature.
Its sad to see and there is no good way to stop it.

I am just down the road, 141/44 is my regular way to work. Not this week. I didn't take pictures this time. We don't flood just inconvenienced. Great pictures!

Doesn't look good. My daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids were in St. Louis last weekend for the world robotics championships, and they "escaped" the city just ahead of this last deluge.

St.Louis city was not affected , just a lot of rain. Hope they had fun.
I escaped the city about 40 yrs ago, now about 35 mile southwest of St.L and trying to move farther out lol. Born and raised in the city, and hate it. Only good thing is the convenience of most shopping and such.
