I took these photos with my Canon 40D camera and Sigma EX DG OS f/2.8 105mm Macro lens... Hand-held camera.

Yes the bee is true to color... It also had relatively huge back legs... it reminded me of a Kangaroo.

I used a "Sigma EX DG OS f/2.8 105mm Macro lens on my Canon 40D. Yes it has "OS" which is Sigma's term for "Optical Stabilization" while Canon uses "IS" for "Image Stabilization" and both reduce camera shake but NOT subject movement or shake. Higher lens speed reduces or stops subject movement or shake. Thanks for your comments.

The first 3 are not cropped but reduced to meet UHH photo standards... the 4th photo is cropped... I couldn't get close enough to get a true macro photo...
