Fungi Infected True Bug

The abdomen of this Potato Mirid true bug (Closterotomus norwegicus) is distended with an internal infection of Entomophthora erupta, a member of Zygote Fungi. Death is immanent.

Interesting. This is similar but slightly different to the fungus on my fly posted on the 26th April http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-456909-1.html.
