I used text on the background layer in PS CS5

Very nice pics and interesting framing/titles.

Just be careful when adding frames with captions, consider whot is going to see them and what size they will be. Some of those captions are extremely difficult to read in the sizes that are displayed.
For clarity, if you intend for many people to see and enjoy the captions, either use fonts such as Helvetica, Arial, Tahoma, Times Roman, etc or make sure they are going to show up large enough and with enough contrast from the background that they can be read. Many people have some degree of color blindness and that makes some of those captions unreadable.
