Given the abundance of framing provided by the trees I was going to suggest that a closer crop might be better, but having looked at the download I can see it's about the "leafy lane" look as much as it is about the church. This looks like one of those shots that needs to be viewed large.

If it was mine I'd be tempted to clone out the road signs and the cone, but perhaps they're part of the memories that you have of that place.

Thank you RG. I agree with you on the best seen large view. Also the road signs have driven me mad since downloading from the camera, when I shot it I never noticed the road signs. Not that great with processing.

Cloning out stuff that's against foliage isn't hard, and the railings should help with cloning out the stuff on the road. It's all small stuff so none of it's critical.

I like it, but agree that the road sign would be better gone, but worse or at least more noticeable to me is that cone at the end of the drive. I do like how you have composed this with the bell tower framed by the trees. I agree with RG that you can probably get rid of that sign and the cone with the clone tool.

I love this shot but also without the road signs. Also, the church tower is leaning to the right, I would adjust the horizon or do some transforming in PP. Great composition otherwise!!

I apologize, I downloaded the picture to straighten it and found the church tower to be spot on so the leaning to the right is an optical illusion (or I haven't had enough coffee yet!!!)

I did try Lightrooms guided upright tool and it did seem to correct the church tower. Also took out the road signs.

I like the composition but would like to see it in different light, early morning and evening.

Thank you CM. I will be having a play with clone tool over the next few days

Thank you for your comments and time removing the signs. It is much better without them.

Thank you Tjohn. Yes the light was pretty harsh, it is a church that I have in my project to photograph them at different times of the day including nighttime when they are floodlit and through the different seasons of the year.

It's a beautiful scene and SO much better on the fixed version. I like the lighting. It's open and inviting. I still feel like it's listing slightly, but I guess it's my brain that's off, not the image.

Overall a very nice shot. The only problem I have is the tree on the right is leaning into the view of the church.

I can't add too much to the comments already presented. It is really a very good shot with the cloned out parts removed.

I am one who might prefer to crop it on the sides. I would crop from the right until the edge of the road is near the bottom right corner and the left until there is only about a third of the green still visible. This also places the tower just right of center, removes much of the abundance of green, and still gives a feeling of the lane approaching the building (especially with the overhead green), which is think is good.

Either way, it is a winner.
