Three Days of Heavy Rain

This past weekend we had very heavy rain and I went out to Burgess Falls State Park to check out the water level at the falls. The stair case leading into the gorge was closed due to high water damage. Consequently I had to shoot from the over look platform above the Big Falls. The river is a lot wider from all the rain.

Wow, the water is really flowing...was just past your area near Crossville on our way back from the Smokey. Saw the big Fairfield Glade Watertower from the Interstate. Fantastic shots...!

Thanks for looking James. Park is 18 miles South of Cookeville which is just West of us. I knew the rivers would be up after all that rain but the volume surprised me./George

Thank you for looking. I like both but didn't carry my tripod in to the site and I was using a two stop filter so decided to shoot with a faster shutter. Also the water had a soft look with all the speed and foam./George
