I have often said here that in over fifty years of photography, I have created a total of three prints larger than 4" x 6"; that total is now four prints.
Roughly four years ago, my Mother offered to move to "senior apartments" if we would move to her house. For the first three of those years, whenever she came here to visit, her first move was to walk to the glass doors in back and observe the area of garden, trees, and animal feeders, but for the past year {she is now 92} she has hobbled directly to her assigned seat at the dinner table, so this weekend I took a picture of that area. Today I made a 8" x 10" print of the picture, framed it, and delivered it to her.

She always admired the tree with purple blossoms; the white blossoms in the foreground are the apple tree my Dad planted 25 years ago.

Very nicely done! Beautiful clarity, exposure, color. What a treasured gift that must have been for your mother!
