Not Sure if this qualifies...

Not sure if this goes in the sport...Thank goodness the girls seem to like what I did..at least last time. I'm not real happy overall. I taxed my equipment to the max ISO 3200, F2.8, shutter was 400...could have possibly come down on that and raised the f-stop for more depth but it really seemed under exposed doing that...it would definitively help if I understood the "sport" a little more. It was one of those nights where it didn't matter where I set up the action was always 50 feet to the wrong side :-)

If golf and pool are sports, then roller derby is a sport also. All three have hitting and points of contact as major aspects of the activity. However, this may mean that photography is not a sport.

I'm not so sure about that, I've been hit by foul balls and run into by players running out of bounds..
There is definitely contact involved in photography :-P

photography would qualify! Been almost hit by a shot and discus, run over on a student body left football play and hit numerous times with basketballs! Sports photography is a sport in its own right!

Whatever you see as problems, these photos seem crisp and clear.

   WOW! Good to see that this "sport" is becoming popular again. Not enough "news" coverage, though. I think you did a great job with these. You never know when the gals are going to setup. You take what you can get. Thanks for sharing these!
