New to this site but like the informal and informed format. I am not a very experienced photographer but attach few photos I took in my garden today with my Fuji HS20 EXR

Nice colors, couple are a little soft but good start!
Nice start. I agree a couple are on the soft side. I too take photos with a Fuji.
Your Sweet William and the carnation look very good. Your snap dragons are a little over exposed but they are still pretty. Mine sag to the ground. Your bumble bee is out of focus and also slightly overexposed but who cares? Still a nice picture. I took about 50 pictures of bumble bees Monday evening and all but a couple were out of focus. And I thought I knew what I was doing. Sure humbled me. Lol.
Number 1 is a real beaut!
Thanks for your comments - the first is a carnation not a Sweet William - very similar though!!
Couldn't get that Bumble Bee to keep still - no wonder hey are called BUSY LOL!!!
Nice photos. I covet your garden, lovely.
#1 is as good a capture of Mother Natures beauty as can be had and another high 5 for centerism---it does carry it's own weight on florals. Keep them coming.......
Thanks for your encouraging comments - I have attached a few more - hope you like them
Last one for now - think this turned out pretty well!!!
what a lovely sanctuary you must have to enjoy as well as providing for the butterflies and honey bees.
Lovely photos! If your camera is equipped with a Macro setting, use it. You can get really up close and personal with those flowers on macro setting! XOXO
do you find it difficult to take a clear picture with full zoom with the hs20 exr?
Yes the zoom goes out of focus before I get to maximum, sometimes well before. I still struggle with all the buttons, modes and settings so am probably not getting the best out of the camera.
