I'm a Sony A580 DSLR user, and I absolutely love. Canon and Nikon fans, please remain calm :)

I just recently entered the hobby of photography and I am completely hooked. I look forward to seeing the wonderful works of art that I am sure will be posted to this site. Happy shooting!!!

That my good friends is Betsy!!! She is a C6-SGT Computerized Telescope. Just set her up and dial in whatever you want to see in the universe (that is visible at the time). I connect it to my Sony A580 DSLR via a T-Adapter, which allows it to act as a very large telephoto lens. Being that it is on a computerized GoTo Equatorial mount, it tracts the rotation of the earth allowing me to get long exposures without star trails; some shutter speeds exceed 5 minutes.
