I'm going to be in the Wisconsin Dells for 3 days starting on July 3rd. I've never been there so I'm looking for places of interest to take good photos as well as have some fun as I won't be traveling alone.
Upper Dells boat ride, lower Dells Duck ride, House on the Rocks
Yeah, Duck ride - lots to see the entire trip!
If I take the Duck boat ride or the Upper Dells boat ride will my camera be okay or do I have to worry about the spray from the boat getting it wet?

Well, there was one point where the Duck went into the water somewhat 'briskly' and a wave did splash me, I just used my t-shirt to blot away the water drop from my lens - had I had the foresight to turn away, I would have had no problem at all. Be reasonably alert and take along an appropriate lens cloth of some sort & you should be fine. Afterwards, I realized that I had a micro fibre cloth in my sunglasses case that I should have used.
As a suggestion check out the International Crane Foundation and Devils Lake State Park. I enjoyed photographing those two places more than the Wisconsin Dells.
A photo club I belong to is going to the International Crane Foundation in May as well as the Big Cat Rescue center (forgot it's full name). My back has been bothering me and I don't know if the nerve block I had will have kicked in by then, so I don't think I'll go. I hear the Crane Foundation is a great place to take photos.

We visited in May 0f 2015. Didn't have time for much but the HH Bennett photo museum was very interesting. A granddaughter of his was there at the time and gave us a personal tour. He was an innovator in photography and promoter of the Dells. I enjoyed it very much.
