Looking for Grand Teton Itinerary

Next month, I'm going to Jackson, WY for three days before moving on to Bozeman Montana for a four day Yellowstone visit.
I have a senior citizens pass for the parks, and I will do the driving. No tours.
I Googled traveling the Tetons from Jackson, but most suggestions are for paid tours. I'll leave Jackson each morning for a day trip.
Mormon Row is my first stop. Any suggestions besides getting a map? Thanks.

A few years ago, when I was in Jackson, I took a white-water rafting trip down the Snake River (yes, I had a waterproof camera). chase

Did 3 days in Jackson last Fall. Definitely plan on getting up early, an hour before sunrise so you get going, drive to site and get set up with tripod. You definitely won't be alone - I did this trip during the week and there were lots of others - serious photogs to those pesky phone picture takers. Here are my suggestions:
1. Mormon Barn: When you get to sign that says "Mormon Row" turn right and you'll see barn down road on right. Get there before sunrise as the light is incredible for about 10-15 min. Also, if you turn Left at the sign there are a couple of houses and barns that are good to photograph. Mormon Barn is about 1/2 hr. drive from Jackson.
2. Schwabacher Landing: Right along the Snake River so get great shot and reflections of Tetons. About 1/2 drive from Jackson - turn left at UNMARKED road, check for directions with mileage online. There use to be a sign but was gone when I was there. drive down the road to parking lot and then walk down trail a short distance. You'll see other photogs where trail turn to right. This is great spot of Teton photos. Then continue down trail to right - there is a beaver pond that adds a different perspective to Teton photos. Again, go early morning before sunrise.
3. Oxbow Bend: About a 45 min. drive from Jackson towards Yellowstone. Very popular with lots of photogs before sunrise. Parking was along road and then you walk over edge of road and stake out your spot along the river.
4. During day there is drive along Jenny Lake, the Gros Ventre road up into the back country (nice views of ranches, an old log house - go inside and shoot view of Tetons through window opening) and of course walk around the main square in Jackson. Definitely try Persephone Bakery 145 E. Broadway about 1/2 block off main square - great to sit outside on porch next to park with pastry and coffee in morning after early morning shooting. And you can go to Jackson Hole, which is ski resort South of Jackson a short drive.
5. Here is a good map of the area. http://npmaps.com/wp-content/uploads/grand-teton-map.pdf
6. For other suggestions try googling best Places to take photos at Grand Tetons. Do same for Yellowstone - we did Yellowstone first then went to Grand Tetons. The geysers and buffalo are incredible in Yellowstone. Lots of good information. You'll have an amazing trip. Looking forward to seeing your photos when you return.

You can not go wrong. Start early and drive every side road in the park. The iconic barn is on a side road near the south end of the patk.

rraybob said it all. Follow his guidance. I hit all of those spots last year and yes, you need to get there before sunrise. As the sun hits the top of the mountains it is a wonderful sight.

Drive to the top of Signal Mountain; the views are amazing. As previously mentioned, Oxbow Bend is a must see also.
