I took about a dozen pictures of this orchid in my office because it is pretty but mostly because it looks like a big fuscia bird or super hero.No flash but windows floor to ceiling. The color is correct on only one and none are as clear as most I see on UHH. There is a faint white edge on the petals of the flower but not as bright as in the photos.

If no setting were changed, If I had to guess, I may tend to think the color is different due to the angle of the shot...1st one light coming from behind and the others, the light is skimming across the pedals...

You are probably correct, I kept moving it around to get the right angle to see the "eyes." Thanks for looking and commenting.
