UHH - how does it work?

I've been laid up for the past week and instead of just watching the box and feeling sorry for myself, I decided to get to grips with the UHH website. Now I'm feeling really sorry for myself, I am even more baffled than when I started.
I began with the search engine, went to "Search" and typed in "Search" and found a plethora of posts from members who could not make it work for them. After many tries I found that a one word entry into the search box will throw up a long list of relevant posts whilst multi-word entries tend to bring out all kinds of matter, much of which is not relevant.
As I test, I tried to find the current brilliant series of tutorials from MWAC. I tried "MWAC" and "Rock", neither of these got me anywhere. When I typed "MWAC" I was presented with a huge list of posts, but not in alphabetical or chronological order. Once I realized that Rocking was spelt Rockin, I found them.
I thought maybe the Digest would be of help, but I now know that not all topics go into the digest so it is perhaps not the best place to explore UHH from.
This all started because when I discovered UHH, I found a photo (somewhere) which depicted somebody's living room which had been enhanced with HDR. The picture was absolutely brilliant, but I don't know who the poster is, not the title of the picture, nor the section it was in. I have in the past few days searched thousands of posts but doubt if I will ever find it again. Now I use the bookmark system and a notebook.
Trying to catch up with digital photo technology drove me to find a couple of good web forums and I am sure that most of what I want to know is buried somewhere in the UHH archives, but finding it is not easy. I suppose it would help if I knew what questions to ask and then phrase them to fit the Search engine. Unfortunately I don't know what I need to know in order to ask the right questions!
I'll conclude this missive by stressing that the overall content of UHH is worth a dozen books, (even though I do have the books), and the knowledge being shared by the members is outstanding. I will just keep on reading, bookmarking and trying to absorb the great mass of information (and ignore the politics and squabbles).
Best wishes to all
Jim

Jim, go to Search and type in: HDR Real Estate Photography and see if this is what you are looking for. If you remember seeing the picture after you joined, you can start from there. A lot of UHH members read questions and almost always someone will be able to help you. If this isn't the one let me know and I'll keep looking for you.

If you know the person you are looking for, go to Search, type in the name like "MWAC", it will bring up a posting of hers. Click on her name, MWAC above her avatar and then click on "list". It shows Rockin and every post she has done. That is how to find her subjects.

Thank you Gidgette for both your posts. On the first, I still have not found the pic and Poster I am seeking, but time is what I have plenty of.

On the second, many, many thanks. There are usually two ways to do something, and as usual, I chose the hard way.
