I'm continually astounded by all the great photos at this place - I always fancied myself as a fair shooter, but you folks make me feel kinda puny.
I wish more posters would list the gear they used to get the shot, though - it would help those of us trying to decide what directions to move as we get into the digital end of things.

You can examine exif data on those images where download is included. This will allow you to examine the equipment used and the data about the photo.
