Does anyone know of a unit that will profile both a monitor and printer other than X-Rite?

X-Rite has a kit that will do both but the expensive part is the part that calibrates the printer (maybe because it needs to provide its own light). They are separate parts of the process of getting everything as close as possible to "right" for printing. Perhaps the process of calibrating the printer can be avoided if you use papers with known profiles with your printer. I am new at this and I am sure more knowledgeable folks will provide more information. The monitor profile setup device from a couple of manufacturers is under $200. I bought an X-Rite kit with an i1Display Pro bundled with a Color Checker Passport at B&H. This stuff goes on sale periodically if you are patient.

I have the X-Rite unit at present. It stopped functioning on my system, and I am looking for a different system that will do the same. For some reason their software has stopped functioning on my system. It works on other computers we have, and was working on this computer until it was moved. Great product, but if it won't work I have to replace it with something that will do the same.

I've looked at the spyder, but it seems to be for monitors only.

Thank you for the link. Studio Pro seems like it will do the job, and less for the two units than I paid for the Colormunki Photo. Plus they will allow a trial period.

Do you use the Spyder, and if so are you satisfied with it? Seems like it might be more accurate than the Colormunki.

I saw that in the literature and demo video. Does it work well for you? It prints out a much more detailed color selection than the X-rite product.
