Did our star wars tech. take out N. Korea's missile on the launchpad? I like to think so. Would a high tech laser/phaser by invisible? Or a bright beam of light, like on Star Trek?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Anybody out there work for NASA?

I might believe it, if it happens on their next launch. And why wasn't this technology put into action on previous missile launches?
What does this have to do with photography?

Nothing at all. Read the Topic Heading." Chit Chat, Non Photography Talk."
I sure like to think we were responsible for that failure. I know we have that type of capabilities. CNN was talking about it right before Easter.

There's a topic heading that admin. would like us to use for photography related subjects. It's called the "Main Photography Discussion".
I've learned over the years that my topics get moved to where admin. thinks they belong. I was just trying to save admin. from giving me a personal message that basically says "don't do that again".
Cheers.

Wished I would have caught what they had to say. I think Reagan started the program. That's been a while back.

I think they don't want the N. Korean gov. to know we have the capability. If we use it all the time, they'll put two and two together.

I'd like to get a picture of that and not be cranky in the meantime.

I understand the feeling. This is why I am reluctant to start a new topic or post pictures. ( I am in my 80's)

Enjoy and don't sweat the small stuff! There is always somebody around that can do that!

I was not exactly posting this just for you, Stan. 500 Hogs might read it and get something out of it, and never say a word. I can relate to not wanting to post replies. But I want to encourage you to have fun, and use the forum for all its worth. Ask questions, and post pictures, and learn to ignore whatever you want, and take what's said with a grain of salt. Please don't take anything personally.
I, for one, hate getting PM's from admin. saying I did something wrong. But that's how we learn.

I think it's a design problem for the North Koreans. You want proof? Look at the picture halfway down that page. Who designed Kim's hair, and who designed their military officers' hats?
