Portland Head Lighthouse, I do believe is considered one of the most photogenic. I chose this particular shot, because I felt it was unique from what most have been shown. Hope all have a fun learning experience and I look forward to seeing the visions of others.

Which do I like best... my reply would simply be "yes". Few photos lend themselves to excellence in so many variations some of which invoke fear. This shot is page one of a Steven King story. Or.... "Three Skeleton Key" Sit in a dark room and view the dark photo sip some wine and listen to: https://www.finalrune.com/three-skeleton-key/ then say the hair on the back of your neck did not stand tall with fear!

Thanks photophile !!! The risk of injury seemed to be worth the point of view .... now, but questionable then. Your compliment is much appreciated. Thanks again !!! Dave
Taking your shot and going in a different direction
A different direction is something I strive for as well, Frank !!! Its interesting to see variables of the same image, and how an image can be perceived by others. Dave

Excellent dpullum !!! While fear wasn't one of my choices, I do agree with the theory that this image can invoke variations of the imagination. The introduction of sitting in a dark room, along with the voice of Vincent Price would be enough to bring the hair on the back of my neck to a rising point. So, my reply would be ..... yes, as well !!! Dave
