Girls U18 HS League Soccer...

Ambient illumination: Bright low angle sunlight... Quartering sun angle (easily seen in ear shadow)
Kit: Nikon D3 w/ AF-S 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Nikkor
Support System: Surui P-424 Monopod with Surui L-10 head

Settings: All images at f/5.6 (wide open) 1/1600; Auto ISO w/ aperture priority
Focus: AF-C (Focus priority); Dynamic AF area (9-point array)
AF Activation: AF-On Only (Backbutton: focus decoupled from shutter release)
Exposure: Matrix (Auto ISO on with minimum shutter speed 1/1600, ISO start sensitive 200 max 3200)
Release Mode: CH (Continuous High Speed Release @ 9 frames/second)
Focus Tracking with lock-on: AF 5 (Long)
Auto WB

Images posted at full camera resolution so that other sport shooters might ascertain the limitations inherent with the kit and settings used.
Actual ISO adjustments in image title since they varied owing to Auto ISO

Thomas, these images very much fit your caption of "Keeper of the Goal". Hands grasping the ball. I love the first one where she appears to be pushing the ball outa her territory with her open hand. Your exposure techniques are excellent as well, but composition is high on the list for sports photography.
