First Full Moon

I thought I'd try out my new Canon 800mm f/5.6 lens. I'm completely new to the lens (and the 1D X, for that matter, lol) and have not taken photos of the moon, before, but kinda like how it turned out. I know I'll get better!

Some advice to newbies:
Always upload jpg images
Check the box the says Store Originals so we can see the EXIF
Use the Quote Reply button when replying back to someone, that way they know what you are commenting back about.

Oh, and ignore some of the more gruff comments here. You sometimes need some thick skin when people make rude comments.

Great first moon image. I think it is perfect. Enjoy your new lens and create some awesome images with it.
