...playing around with night photography...the first shot looks like the sun rising so I took it down for the next two...the second shot the moon was the focus and the third shot the trees were the focus...the star at the top right is the planet Jupiter...and there is a contrail in the third shot...critiques welcomed...
Suggestion:
Put your camera on manual focus. During the day, take a few pictures at infinity and just a tad closer.
Then check which distance setting gives you the best focus. Mark that with a sliver of tape or make a mark on the lens.
Then, when you go out at night, move the lens to that setting since at night many cameras have issues with auto-focus.
...thanks...focusing was my biggest issue that night...doing things in the dark ain't easy...
