W/R winterrose: On Silly Beards.

Beards, why do men hide behind them?

Concealing bad acne could be a reason, or to hide a weak chin, but very often it's a vain attempt to balance up a follically challenged cranial expanse.

Another is to provide a false image or to disguise one's true identity.

That posting a selfie sporting a silly beard in an attempt to draw attention away from one's pathetic shortcomings can be seen even here on the UHH but often goes unnoticed in the real world.

Done properly, wearing a silly beard can be an effective disguise often used by personalities to enable them to live a relatively normal life away from the spotlight.

Pictured at the local supermarket checkout is Bouncie, or Bayonse or wh**ever, leggy Diva, melody murderer and subject of many an adolescent self server's fantasies.

Note that she is free to go about daily life unmolested by paparazzi and ignored by doting fans which may be attributed to some degree because she is wearing her normal street attire but more especially because she is sporting her very own hand made version of a silly beard.

Silly beards are funny. But only if the wearer is serious about their reason for having one in the first place.

But then who do you know is so silly as to go around looking like that just to be the butt of so many jokes?

There is a serious side to silly beards.

As a part of his vision to making america great again US President Donald Trump today announced plans to box up one hundred and fifty million silly false beards which, before end of his first term will be distributed to every male American.

"This will instill fear into the hearts of all those horrible people who keep writing that we are just being silly" he said.

Leaked on CBS today was this picture of Mr. Trump modelling a prototype model for Congress approval which he at first described as being "false news" but later admitted was actually a false beard.

When questioned about how he planned to make such a huge number of beards Mr. Trump last week said "There are a lot of women out there and I expect they will be eager to lend a hand to do anything they can to help" and that suitable donor animals would be found to provide the raw materials but admitted to expecting criticism from animal rights.

Later in a tweet he announced that a solution had been agreed upon.

"I expect there will be a lot of bald beavers out there"......

winterrose said..."I expect there will be a lot of bald beavers out there"......" That comment is of Course, to say the least, Coarse.

winterrose this brings to my mind that beards pose a big problem; without one I can, by order of the Supreme Court, go shower with the gals at the fitness center. With a beard they would impose illegal protests ... perhaps splashing soap in my eyes so that I could not see the sculptured beauty or the "few extra pounds.:. We men with or without beards, real or false, would welcome ladies into our shower area even if they had a false beard or bald beaver.

Russia, North Korea and all that foolishness is dwarfed by "local politics" that confront us ...

Al Gore would have been president, had the people seen him with his real beard:

PS: I have had a beard since the 1970 when management work two weeks during a Firestone strike. Shaved it off once, burrr, face was cold!!

Thirty years ago, without telling the kids, I shaved my off. Two of them broke out in tears; not sure if that was a bad sign, or not. Immediately regrew it. Never shaved it again.
