Well, I am just about to pull the trigger on the Panasonic LX100. Anybody with any last thoughts?

The Panasonic LX-100 is an excellent compact camera. Please be advised that it has a maximum focal length of 75mm. If that is satisfactory to you, go for it.
Thank you mas24. Max of 75 is OK by me as it replaces my LX3.
In many ways, the LX-100 looks like a really awesome compact camera. If I had the money to spare, I'd strongly consider getting one for myself! (I guess I'll just have to wait a few years and pick up a used one instead.)
I have an LX100 and it is terrific!
I own it and love it! Hard to beat the quality for a camera that truly fits in your jacket pocket.

My everyday carry camera. My DSLR is too bulky and obtrusive to carry.
Great size, fine images, large sensor, Leica lens, huge option set.

I have had the LX100 in my "Wish List" on Amazon hoping against hope the price would come down enough that I can bring myself to pull the trigger. Been hoping for a long time.
I recently purchased the ZS100. It is an awesome pocket camera! It has a 1" sensor and 250mm zoom. It also has a touch screen. The quality of the images is as good as what I'm getting with my FZ1000. Because it can be fit into a jacket pocket, it makes it more portable. For that reason, I will probably use it more than my FZ1000.
Thanks everyone. I purchased the lx10 from Amazon. Arrives on the 22nd. Also purchased the pleather case.
I wonder if it is too soon to give the LX3 to my 8-yr old Granddaughter? She is always taking pictures with her "watch"...
I had the LX100 and was not satisfied with it and returned it to B&H. I purchased both the ZS100 and the FZ1000. Both are excellent, I use the ZS100 when ever I walk my dog or go anywhere as it fits in my pocket. I am amazed at the 1" sensor in both. I can use the "i.Zoom" extension to the maximum and it is very sharp on both. That doubles the effective zoom length.

The zs100 was on my list. Just what were you not satisfied about the LX10?

Am interested to know why you were dissatisfied with the LX100. No judgment here, just curiosity.
