I have lots of raw files that I would like to share with someone that prefers jpg.s Not sure he even has a program that will open raw files.

Is there a quick way to batch process raw to jpg.? Now, I only know how to do them one at a time.

You have Lightroom? Easy to export as jpg as many files as you want.

You can use Adobe Lightroom to do it during import or export.
I imagine there are plenty of others too, but that's the one I use.

Export selected files from Lightroom. You can specify file type, compression/quality, and even pixel dimensions.

I guess I need to invest in Lightroom. I use PS CS6. I have Canon DPP but never learned anything about it.

If these raw files were produced via a Canon Camera --You then can use Canons DPP Software to convert, resize & send

The fastest and free-est solutions are Faststone Image Viewer if you want to do some light editing, cropping etc. or Instant Jpeg From Raw if all you want is the embedded jpeg. If you want to refine the images for final output, there is no substitute for either Capture One or Lightroom, and Photoshop. Though I am playing around a bit with On1 Raw and liking it very much.

I use CAPTURE ONE PRO. (tether shoot)

You can pull your raw files in there and than export.them all out at once into whatever formats you like. Jpeg, tiff, PNG etc

DPP can do it in batchmode. Convert them all at once. SW is free for all Canon users.

(...and that sound you hear is the fan speed on your computer maxing out as the processor hits 100% :-)

You can do it easily with Bridge, which I believe you should have if you have CS6.
