After viewing Monument Valley, we traveled to Moab, UT to view Arches National Park for the first time. Southeast Utah is remarkable country with its vast colorful and rocky landscapes. Unfortunately, we were unable to hike up to Delicate Arch for health reasons and there was a major traffic jam going into Windows Arches. By the time we got to Windows the number of people there prevented a good photo opportunity. For those traveling to Moab this year, there is road construction going on at Arches from 7pm to 7am. Sunrise and sunset pictures may not be possible so be sure to check Arches website before you go.
Pretty, very nice pics; they remind me of a motorcycle trip we went on back in the 90's. We visited parks and monuments all over the western USA.
Did you go up and stand in the arch? How did you get it with no people on it? I am the one with height problems and my wife challenged me to climb up and she was the one who chickened out near the top. It's a great view from inside the arch.
More excellent shots Dennis i'm enjoying this series.
Nice. I had to laugh when I saw your last one. I took that exact same picture! It's like we were standing side by side!
I forgot to add; I was talking about the Wilson arch not the other one. I don't think many people could climb that one.
Nice photos--that place is on my list.
A very nice series. It is great to see other parts of the country via photos on this web site.
A very beautiful set of downloads!
Outstanding set of images that makes me want to see Arches NP ASAP.

I had that issue back in 2012 when I visited Arches. Personally I wish they would restrict more areas from foot travel. I've seen a major deterioration since my first trip in the 1980's. Must have had 15 people in the image I made, ascending the footpath. I quickly realized the probability of a person free environment might take hours or may never come so in post I was forced spending a good amount of time clone stamping/spot healing brush.
