I am considering using the micro SD cards in my Android phone and tablet as "adaptive storage" instead of USB storage.
Has any member actually tried this method, if so what are the pro's and cons.

I use adoptable storage in my phone and tablet. I have not noticed any speed issues with read/writes, and I really like having all my storage treated as one large block instead of two separate places.
