spent the day in the promontory mountains yesterday and ran across this bull snake trying to get across the road. Needless to say he was not all that happy with me for interrupting him
thanks. he couldnt move too fast because he had just finished a dinner of some sorts so he stood his ground
thanks. i had this urge to lay down and get a straight in the face shot but i think my wife would have had a heart attack.
Neat shots...looks like he's trying to imitate a rattler... :-D :-D :-D
Your a braver man than me Utah Native, excellent set.
nah they are harmless. constrictors and dont have teeth even and with a telephoto even I can get down on my hands and knees
my wife thought he was a rattler. but with a skinny long tail it was a dead give away
Good shots of that snake, did you enquire why he was crossing the road? :)
he wasnt very socialable. he wouldnt even hiss at me.
