I had to chuckle yesterday, as there was a pair of mallards swimming around in a huge puddle of water at the end of our street, from all the snow melting. I tried to get some pics, but wasn't very successful. Thanks for sharing your mallard lady friend.

Here in Canada if we want to look at mallards ,just go to a McDonald's or Tim Horton parking lots. They gather there in droves ( called that as the are being driven out of the way) looking for free handouts of French fries or donuts. And yes they are beauties.

Thanks for looking in Tuskerwedge i appreciate it very much there are lots of ducks in our local parks and when they see a child with it's parent they swarm around them knowing full well that they will more than likely get some goodies off of them.
