This is my second post about this next Windows 10 update but the first one seem to have been missed by many UHH member so here it is again.

The latest Window 10 will be available soon, if you can't wait her is how to get it now:

I have been using the latest version for a week or so now, and I consider it vastly improved, why not try it out for yourself.

I keep seeing articles about "Creators Update," but I had no idea what that meant. I just wait till Win10 says it want to do an update. Where software is concerned, I don't like installing previews. "Creators Update" sounds like it comes directly from God. :)

I think you will find that this update is exactly the same as the download you may receive later in the next month or so,

Thanks for this John. It's the first I've heard of it.

Replied to the first. Download and installed the new Windows 10 update. 35 minutes to download and after computer restarted took ninty minutes before computer was totally back up and running.

First thing l noticed was how fast programs would load along with using Microsoft Edge loaded internet websites.

One thing that was nice was everything stayed the same and if you do not like this new update Microsoft gives you the often to restore your conputer back to the way it was. Great new feature from Microsoft.

I see microsnot plans to release a staged roll-out along a timeline for different users
ie - they only plan on breaking a small number of machines at a time
-
In my experience, these 'upgrade' pushes ALWAYS manage to break a few of my older drivers (for which there ARE no new)
The Roll-Back option may be a life-saver.

The roll out is supposedly going to machines that "are known to be compatible" first. (So I guess newer??)

If so older machines (or machines with older drivers?) may get it last.

I fortunately haven't had any driver issues (and I have 1 machine with a 10 year old video capture card in it for digitizing NTSC video!) But the roll back option is a great idea.

Yeah - - me too - - a Matrox RTX.100 system. But THAT machine runs WinXP - - with NO plans (not even a glimmer of a thought) to change the OS !!

I agree with you, once it's finished and up and running it is much quicker and my PC boots up in 30 seconds. I expect that some of the extra speed is due the junk which has been removed. Apparently in this latest build there is a setting which deletes uneccessary files automatically, I haven't found it yet though.

Mine already boots up much faster but it has a solid state disk.
