Great photo and agree with the other critiques. I believe it needs better over-all editing, the cats really 'pops' with simple editing
Sorry, I'm kind of a late-comer to this thread. You know we always talk about out-of-focus backgrounds, but in this case I'd like to see more depth of field. First, it would make your feline sharper from head to tail, but also I think it would highlight the very interesting contrast between her soft fur coat and the crackling ice crystals of the snow.
A pretty sharp critiquer from the upper Midwest once told me I needed to "work the scene" more. I'm often guilty of not experimenting more with my aperture settings. This scene would be a great one to experiment with.
