Lightroom 6 will not load

Using LR 6. Was working. May have closed computer poorly. Now LR 6 will not load. How do I fix the program?

If you go into control panel and select the application there is often an option to repair it.
Check the forum's for lightroom - might be suggestions there.
Uninstall and re-install. Hopefully you have your license information saved somewhere.

If you have the actual disk, you can do an unistall and then re-install from the disk. But I don't know how to do this on a Mac if you have a Mac.

Have done uninstall and reinstall 2 times. Program loads and works then mysteriously stops loading again. Have done this 2 times. Any help would be appreciated.
