This headline is incredibly misleading as usual. Keep quoting Politicus. When you read the article it says that "67% of Americans are opposed to a full repeal of Obamacare as is being pushed by Republicans in Congress and President Trump." This means that they are opposed to the bill being pushed by Congress and Trump, not repeal of Obamacare in general. A huge amount of Republicans are against the bill too. In fact the article states that only 21% of people polled want to keep Obamacare as it stands. I know it makes some people feel good to pretend, but the reality is different. And of course, Republicans are not "stunned" as the article fantasizes.

It still amazes me how Trump supporters or Hillary h**ers still will find ways of distorting written facts from reputable news outlets because the now POTUS has coined the phrase "f**e news". Just a side question, was f**e news around prior to this e******n because I don't ever remember hearing it until Trump started using it because he didn't like what was being reported about him in the press. Anyway, back to the article...as it states a majority of Americans do not want ACA repealed, they only want changes and not to be forced into buying into healthcare if they don't want to without being taxed or penalized. A small number of Americans want the entire ACA repealed, which many, including Republicans know that won't happen. After the joke of Trumpcare, Republicans, Trump, Democrats and intelligent Americans know there is no possible way to rewrite ACA or ObamaCare. That small percentage of Americans who want the ACA dismantled are those who have a serious dislike for President Obama, justified or not. I'll admit ACA could be tweaked, but there is no reason, in my opinion, to rewrite the entire healthcare bill. Also, if Republicans were serious about repealing ACA then that should have been their top priority over the last 6-7 years rather than crying about it or claiming that they would repeal it the first chance they got. We all saw how well that worked out for them. Thanks for sharing the article. It was an eye opener, and should have been an eye opener for many.

Just out of curiosity since you rely on polls to validate your position, did you support the fact that almost 70% of Americans opposed Obamacare before it was even passed?
