From the post My Image - Your Look: Let's Experiment With Editing let's see what you can do with a bracketed shot of Red Rock Canyon.

To make it easy I've attached the Canon RAW files, SOOC JPGs, and TIFFs to Red Rock Canyon
- The image below has been reduced to allow for an easy upload to the site

You have until noon, Friday PT to post them here then we'll turn it in for a vote. Enjoy! S-

Definitely a change from my usual misty fodder. I've had to guess about what's normal for this type of scene.

A really nice image, one of those that in good conscience I couldn't stray too far from its good bones.

Thank you, it's one of the few I slowed down on with the tripod and bracketing. Another wonderful rendition. Now I think I need to go there again! S-

Well Stevie when you give me an image of what looks like a landfill site to start with it sure does not make life easy! So I transferred it to the easel and reached out for the oils. Produced using only my digits in the style of the immortal winterrose who we all remember I'm sure as a big fan of finger painting whose wise words enabled others to take the technique to a whole new level.
Edits are welcomed by the way but suggest you only do that when smiling, very drunk, or both to keep this work of art in its original mood zone.

I have not been participating here recently because of vision problems but this image of the type of terrain that is near and dear to my psyche is a reason to 'wake up'. My final version has been down sized and converted to jpg for this web site
