I don't normally post crappy images; however, when I get even semi-recognizable results thru heavy cloud it is worth noting...

Both images:
Astro-Tech 65EDQ scope, Celestron AVX mount
Luminance only: 16x30sec (both high and low used)

Enjoy!

Your X-Ray vision seems to have been working. Nice effort!

I once tried radiotelescopy... Not very successfully!

Every effort on the Astro Forum deservessome form of comments. This is a great effort through cloudy skies. I can't wait to see new ones under clear skies. I'm sure they will live up to your typical high standards.

Nicely done on both images considering the conditions.
Snagged a piece of the flame nebula as well.
Well done.

Those "clear skies" seem to be few and far between...

I was shootin through cloud cover last night.
It's amazing how our telescopes can "see" through crap we can't.
I finally gave up around 11 PM when PHD2 was blinkin red due to target star lost.

Poopy soup. Definitely a weird year for weather.
