Spring colors are exploding right now in Carrizo Plain National Monument! I have been there several times in the last two weeks and am going again today and again on Wednesday to explore the Temblor range. This range sits right along the San Andreas fault line. There are many different species of birds and the canyons are full of all colors of wildflowers. If any of you would like to take a road trip this spring, this is the place to go!
Loggerhead Shrike
Horned Lark
Tidy Tips
Temblor Range
Carrizo Plain
Red-tailed hawk
Carrizo Plain
Highway 58 just outside Carrizo Plain
Western Meadowlark
Phacelia
Nice range of shots .., I prefer the downloadable version .., but I get the idea from what I see..
Thanks! First time I've posted images. I thought the originals might be too large to store. Can I still go back and check that option or is it too late?
Nice series. Well done. Good first post.
Lovely series. Your birds are sharp and clear and the landscapes are beautiful and well composed. Good work!
Thanks. I appreciate that.
