It is interesting to note that, of the 30+ sections (yes, I understand that Steve didn't list the "garbage can" sections, 11 of them have fewer than 500 subscribed users. Seems like sort of a waste (let the flaming begin.....)!

Sow this forum is being run using resources for a small minority. Then how about a section on "Selfies" which I'm sure would be quite popular - for at least a month!

We already have that, but it's called Nude Photography.

There are sections for underwater, macro and close-up, street photography, and a host of others, but none for film? Considering that most of started with, and in many cases, still shoot film, you'd think there would be a section for it.

Not really. Their welcome message states, "This group is for Christian photographers to share fellowship, photos that glorify God." The inclusion of non-Christian members might lead to dissension. I have seen some beautiful photography there, but fewer photos than other groups.

I am sure Admin would consider the formation of groups based on other faiths.

By the way, I am not a member of that group and only rarely visit the site.
