Hick's Nursery Spring Flower Show....
I went to the flower show last weekend with my two friends.... we were in dire need of seeing some color since nothing is happening outside yet on Long Island.
We were not disappointed at all!!
Here are some glass shots... I love the reflections!!
Hope you like....
...more to come and I still haven't gotten to edit the flowers yet!!

Very nice set, Angela !
Thanks sundar, glad you enjoyed and I appreciate your thumbs up!
Beautiful encore, Angela, and now I'm so looking forward to the show!! Is this the same place you went last year where they had all those beautiful (and pricey!) goodies on display?
I love these Angela! The reflections, shapes, and colors are mesmerizing.

Glad you enjoyed this set, Donna.... I have quite a few more before I even get to the flowers. I think you are thinking of the Peconic Herb farm with the pricey and unique garden art.... this was the place that had those big round glass balls with the gold fish in them and also hanging from the ceiling. This year it was an under water theme, I wasn't too impressed, but it was still nice to see some spring colors!
Hope you went today where you planned.... too cold and raw here, we're going to the home/flower show tomorrow, it's supposed to be really nice... yeah!!
....I tried the technique you shared today and I'm thrilled with the results!! thanks so much!!!

Exactly! That's the place! You have so many wonderful places there, Angela! Yes, we spent almost all day out and about. Nearly burned up at the classic car show (you'll laugh..temps in the 80s, and the lawn where they have the car shows is in full, blazing sun), but we had a nice time in spite of the heat. I have lots of fisheye shots but haven't had a chance to look at them yet. So glad you're going to home/flower show tomorrow and so happy that you tried the technique and love it. I knew you would!!

Can't wait to see the classics.... but I would die in that sun and heat!! Didn't Vic hold an umbrella over you?
We went to HomeDepot today, I bought an 18x24 piece of plexi, it worked great and I also bought a beautiful hellebore plant and one of the flower stems broke, so that's what I used to play with.... Can't wait to try different subjects!

I tried a fern and a sprig from our Japanese maple. I didn't like the fern, but I love the way the maple turned out. I've got to get another lightbox. Mine isn't evenly lighted. Your hellebore sounds perfect. The leaves and flowers have so much beautiful texture.

The plexi works good because it's big, but I do have to try better lighting, mine wasn't the best, but I fixed it in processing. It will be fun to search for new things.... once they grow!! LOL
