I personaly feel you could have composed these a little better with "Boarder Patrol" - checking your shot through the view finder by going areound all 4 sides of the frame making sure you have every thing in the photo you want as well as unwanted things out.
Photo #1 - all of the stem needs to be in the photo -
#2 about the same thing - cutting off the blosom is not good.
#3 is a good shot that could show less of the stem - this stem could lead into the lower frame edge as it is a close up - cropping with just a few full blooms.
All good subjects but a reason for doing as I mentioned and not rushing the shots - maybe takeing more and choosing the best of te bunch. JMHO

Agree with the above, but it's a great effort. I would'nt have the patience to sit still for so long.

in addition to the composition suggestions already made when I look at this I see nothing in focus.

Secondly, hate to break the news but photography at any level requires patience.

Oh! That's my problem, patience. Thanks, I'll work on that. I must admit my wife has mentioned it a few times.

When I seriously came into photography with my first SLR at about age 53- it was very hard for me to "Slow Down and Compose The Shot" all my life I was prodded to "Get IT Done Faster" in my work environment so it carried over into my photography also. My mentor would take 2 shots to my 12. I would sort thu 2 or 3 rolls of 24 exposures for the best of the trip he would sort thru a roll of 12 exposures, yes in the past 20 yrs I have learned to be patient in composing my shots.
