Went to the backyard 03-30-2017 (late PM) with my 77D, no tripod (hand held) Canon 70-300mm. Made a decision to get rid of unused lenses and get another Canon body, a 77D. So far I am impressed with the 77D. A little lighter than the 80D but basically all the same functions. ALL C&C as usual and all details will be with the photos. Applying what I have learned in the last couple of weeks, I got similar results to the Canon 100-400mm L lens. Thanks for looking, and I appreciate the time it takes to post a response.

Nice ones, Greg.
Earl, thank you for your comment and of course the smileys.
Well the 77D has passed muster with two of the respected photographers from Australia. I am happy with the camera and it is a tad lighter.

Corky, thanks for your comments. A nifty little camera for what I want it to do. Back up my 80D and a take with me camera. The 80D has better weather sealing than the 77D but so far the photo capability appears to be similar.

Angela, I thank you also for your comments. This is going to have to be the end of my building a digital set for photography. I have the lenses, flash, and other items that should keep me busy for the foreseeable future.

Well done Greg.
I'm not familiar with the last bird. It looks like a Nuthatch but haven't seen any brown ones before.

Joer, it is a Nuthatch, a Brown-Headed Nuthatch. Thank you for the thumbs up and comments.
