Lumix ZS40 Flash Compensation?

Say it isn't so!
I can't find a way to get flash compensation on the popup flash in the Lumix ZS40. On my other cameras I use it routinely for outdoor fill. Now I want to use the popup to trigger the off-camera $60 Youngnuo 560IV's but the ZS40's popup is truly ugly as-is.
Sob!

You can position one, two lor three layers of Kleenex over the popup flash to vary its output.
Depending on the brightnness of the ambient light, you may be able to add more layers. The 560IV, set for S2, off camera, just has to see a sudden change (burst) of light to trigger.

I have a different Panasonic, but it might be the same. They call it flash adjust. In the record menu go to flash, then flash adjust.
