Man alive, this is like asking Obama/Holder to investigate themselves! How stupid does Holder think the people of this country are? Im not sure of how to get that link over there as the Topic.

Obama picked someone he could control. He darn sure wouldnt have given the 'seat' of DOJ to someone smarter than him, which is not saying much, since Obama is lacking in the 'wits' department himself. He just wanted to make sure who ever he appointed in that chair followed HIS orders ---- and Holder does just that. And he's not about to bite the hand that feeds him!!!!

funny, if W did this, the left would be screaming, the media would be outraged, the ACLU would be on the warpath. Further proof that the HYPOCRISCY of the left knows no bounds. Why doesn't he apoint special investigators for the fast and furious debacle? Also notice how the media (except fox) has given barry o a big pass on this scandal?

information is always being leaked - why not so long ago there was a big deal about a solider leaking classified info to Wikipedia - where was your moral outrage then and why now?

According to the article you posted - no one as of yet knows the source of these leaks - why just suppose it turns out to be some disgruntled staffer of a republican. Will you still be as outraged or will you simply nod, wink, and go on down the road?

Let's not forget about the biggest leakers/traitors this country has known in decades - Dick Cheney and Scooter Libby, and Bush commuted Libby's sentence.

Let's not forget Bill Clinton too... he pardoned the richest man who donated to his Library... you know him.. Rich is his name.. maybe it's Mark.. not sure. But didn't Libby serve some of that time behind bars... So Obama will do the same thing. He's certainly not above it, that's for sure.

This should be a wake up call to ever American gun
owner, if you love your guns as much as your rights
to own them you better start paying attention as to
what is going on here. This new administration is trying
very hard to impose their version of the second amendment
which is " The right to BARE arms." not our second amend-
ment which reads " The right to BEAR arms."

Humm, perhaps someone purchased the diagrams to all the bug microphones that Nixon had planted in the White-House. Do recall the major "dirty tricks" were primarily from those who wish to strictly control in order to Conserve freedom!? Humm must we be strictly controlled to be free? That sounds confusing -- chain me so I can be free to run?

Let me explain, I am both Conservative and liberal and middle ground, depends on the issue,,, this world is shades of gray,,, I view the best I can based on the facts available on the issues.

The Conservative psychology makes radical vindictive people out of those who just do not want thing to change, to conserve the status quo, or better yet to regress to the good ol days of the 1890's when big money was king of the people. Strange the "supreme?" court over threw the big money controls they enacted in 1907.
"The Tillman Act of 1907 (34 Stat. 864) (January 26, 1907) was the first legislation in the United States prohibiting monetary contribution to national political campaigns by corporations." Source:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tillman_Act_of_1907

To better understand the Conservative mind whether you are Conservative or Liberal it is informative to see:

regarding these corporate contributions I would say....
Contributions hell, bribery pure and simple.

it just shows to go ya that all politicians have a price. I don't care if they are Republican, Democrat or a shade in between. I am sure that Republican voters are as ashamed of Nixon and Bush II as Democrat voters are of Clinton and Obama. Power corrupts and so does big money. God save us all from the politicians in general.

Maybe what you say is true but does that excuse what Nixon and BushII did. That would be like saying because John robbed a bank and didn't get caught we shouldn't punish Joe because he got caught doing the same thing. Sounds like some strange logic to me. As far as I am concerned we as voters are in for a drubbing again with the choices we will get again this time. With the help of our illustrious supreme court big money will win again no matter who gets in office.

I think those who are commenting are not only stupid but ignorant. You should read and not listen to FAUX NEWS

From the Christian Science Monitor" June 10

The irony for Obama is that the impression of leaking sensitive information for political gain goes against the administration’s record on fighting such disclosures.

“Since Obama took office, a total of six leak-related criminal cases have been filed, including the pending court martial of alleged Wikileaks leaker Pfc. Bradley Manning,” Politico.com noted. “That’s more than all previous cases in modern US history. In fact, the administration has been so forceful in prosecuting leaks that whistleblower and press advocates have complained the legal actions are discouraging disclosures about wrongdoing.” As was the case decades ago with the unauthorized release of the Pentagon Papers, an inside recounting of US involvement in Vietnam, the role of the press comes under scrutiny as well.

"Both the rise and use of drones, and the increased use of cyberwarfare, are the kinds of issues that we have a public service mission to surface so they can be part of a national debate," New York Times managing editor Dean Baquet told the Huffington Post.

I remember when Obama first came into office there were similiar rants from the uber right - paid and promoted by the NRA warning that Obama wanted to take away gun rights. Three years later the right to own guns in America have not changed one iota and still this stream of thought continues. Show me - post here on the forum one new law that the the federal government has made in the past 4 yrs regarding the Second Amendment and the right to bare arms and I will not vote for Obama this year - can you do that - can you put some substance behind your fears?

My guess is no - you can't because no such action has occured or will occur. But fear is easy to generate and hard to eradicate and fear controls us (we the people) so much so that we are willing to sell our souls down the river to the next politician who tells us what we want to hear.... or what feeds are own fears.
