I guess I'm just a sucker for GBs. Probably because they are so cooperative and easy to shoot. A lot easier than say a Bridled Titmouse flitting from branch to branch!

Hi Dale, I too am a sucker for the GBH but probably not for it's cooperation as the ones around my area are extremely opposed to human intervention hence my Nikon P900 which I use to 'get close'.

Love your images, particularly the first one which provides competition between the reeds (cattails?) and the Heron. It almost blends in with it's surroundings.

Welcome aboard from another GB lover and newbie in Bucks County, PA.

Love this series! #1 is such a feast for the eyes with all the vertical lines. #2 has a terrific humorous caption. Your afternoon light shot is lovely.

Thanks Alan, ours aren't too skiterish, but the 200-500 Nikon does help!
