Very nicely done, Dennis. A hint: when shooting through glass, try to align the axis of the lens to be perpendicular to the pane of glass. The minimizes the effects of the glass.

The bluebird that got me so excited yesterday came back today. And this time I got a better shot of him. Shooting through windows is a hit or miss affair and for some reason today's result is much clearer and sharper.

Understood. I keep that in mind but can't always shoot as straight as I'd like. Keeping the glass clean is also a good practice. I use self-cleaning glass.

Hopefully he and his mate are building a nest somewhere close by and will be raising a family. Nice shot, by the way.

Thanks, Auntie. We're hoping. He is a stunning bird. And I just noticed I replied to you twice.

Get some meal worms and put out for him. They prefer live ones, but the freeze dried ones will work just as well. They like a platform feeder for those. Good luck.
