I'm sure someone has but not me. I tried to test the waters by requesting a quote on a Sony RX-100iii. Their response was that they are not offering that equipment.

Yes, you will get about 50-70% more selling it yourself on ebay.

Agreed. Most people take the easy way out and end up loosing money because of it.
*(Being curious, I inquired about selling my Pentax SMC-A 50mm f1.2. A mom and pop camera store came back with a price that the big stores use for a completely manual lens which, BTW are far less desirable. When I told him it was and automatic lens, he still quoted the same price and told me that feature didn't matter. Needless to say I rejected their offer.)
